The Twisted Ironic Tale of the American Stick Lizard

In southwest United States there lives a uniquely odd reptile called the stick lizard.

Stick lizards run through the desert holding a stick in their mouth when they stop running they the drop the stick and stand on it because the sand is hot and they have tender feet.

Stick Lizards run fast, so the best chance to catch them is when they are standing on their stick because they have to hop off the stick and pick it up before they run off through the desert.

The American Indians are the only people that have reactions fast enough to catch the stick lizard.

The irony is that stick lizards are considered a delicacy and when the American Indians catch a stick lizards they roast them over a campfire using the stick that the lizard was carrying.
